CORVALLIS, Ore. — The 45th Winterail, the original railroad photography exposition and railroadiana show, is scheduled for March 18, 2023. The day-long slide show has long been one of the highlights of the railfan social calendar on the west coast and will be held at Corvallis High School in Corvallis, Oregon.

The show was first held in Sacramento, California, in 1978, before moving to its longest home in Stockton. In 2016, it headed to Oregon, when producer and organizers Vic and Annie Neves moved north. Winterail pioneered the concept of the multimedia railroad slide show, inspiring other events like Summerail (still held in Ohio) and Eastrail (briefly held in New Jersey in the 1990s and early 2000s). The event has often featured shows from some of the very best in the hobby.

The railroadiana show runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the slide shows run from noon to 10 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online via Eventbrite and cost $45 in advance and $55 the day of. For more information and get your ticket, visit winterail.com
