We’re turning 50 this year, and you’re invited to the party! The first issue of Railfan rolled off the presses and into mailboxes in late 1974. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the magazine, and we’re celebrating in style!
Our host will be SMS Lines in southern New Jersey, located just 30 minutes from Philadelphia’s airport and train stations. For one combined ticket price, you’ll enjoy a classic Jim Boyd-style Friday night photo session, a Saturday steam-powered photo freight and diesel-powered passenger train on Woodstown Central Railroad, an evening banquet and slide show with special guest presenters, a Sunday tour of the SMS Lines facility in Pureland, plus a few other surprises along the way!
Tickets are $195 per person and includes all photo sessions, train rides, tours, banquet, and slide show. Lodging not included. Lodging options to be listed soon, for your booking convenience.
