For the first time since 2018, a train crossed the Sacandaga River between Corinth and Hadley, N.Y., on the former Delaware & Hudson Adirondack Branch. The excursions on April 29, were operated by the Saratoga, Corinth & Hudson Railway, which first began offering train rides between Corinth and Greenfield last year.

The three trips to Hadley were operated in conjunction with the Hadley-Luzerne Maple Festival. The railroad was only allowed to offer rides over the bridge but is hopeful it will be able to provide excursions to Hadley again in the future. For more information, visit corinthtrain.com

The April 29th excursions were operated in conjunction with the Hadley-Luzerne Maple Festival. Besides giving people a fun way to get to the event, it also allowed for more off-site parking during the event.
