Nickel Plate Road 2-8-4 765 will visit the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad this spring for the first time since 2022. This week, the Ohio-based tourist railroad announced that steam locomotive 765 would operate there on April 25, 26 and 27 and May 2, 3 and 4.

Locomotive 765 has been visiting CVSR for years, but the 2023 and 2024 visits were canceled due to track issues. Tickets will go on sale to CVSR members on February 3 at 9 a.m. and to the general public on February 5 at 9 a.m. Visit this website for more information. —Justin Franz
