New Hampshire’s Conway Scenic Railroad Sold to New Owners

New Hampshire’s Conway Scenic Railroad has been sold to Profile Mountain Holdings Corp., according to a report in the Conway Daily Sun. Owners Dot and Russ Seybold completed the sale on Tuesday. Founded in 1974, trains operate over a portion of the former Boston & Maine Conway Branch and the Maine Central Mountain Division. The Seybolds purchased the railroad in 1999 and expanded the business to include fine dining and themed events like Polar Express. Profile Mountain Holdings Corp. is jointly owned by David Swirk and business partner William Sullivan, Jr. Swirk was formerly general manager of the Grafton & Upton Railroad, and previously a manager at Pioneer Valley Railroad.
