SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. — Canadian National has confirmed that it will be operating the Agawa Canyon Tour Train in the fall of 2021, albeit on a shortened season and at reduced capacity due to the pandemic. The news comes as CN is selling much of the former Wisconsin Central/Algoma Central to Watco

“It’s obviously really good news for us and the tourism and hospitality industry,” said Travis Anderson, Sault Ste. Marie’s director of tourism and community development. “It was a big gap in our portfolio last year and it presents a really good shot in the arm in terms of economic impact to the community.”

The shortened season runs from September 25 to October 11, and all trips are already sold out.
