The Lebanon, Mason & Monroe Railroad in Ohio will celebrate its 40th anniversary with the appearance of not one but two operating 0-4-0 steam locomotives: Jeddo Coal Company 85 and Little River Railroad 1. The visiting locomotives will lead excursions on September 12 and 13, during the Lebanon Train Fest. 

It’s believed to be the first time two steam locomotives have operated together in Lebanon in more than a century. 

“This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity for railfans, families, and history enthusiasts,” said LM&M Railroad President Ray Kammer Jr. “Bringing two historic steam locomotives together in Lebanon while celebrating the LM&M Railroad’s 40th anniversary creates an unforgettable experience that honors our community’s rich railroad heritage.”
